Friendly staff, very clean and very close to Fira

Location was amazing

The staff is really kind. The rooms are confortable. The position as well is nice. Outside the crowded part of the Island but close to everything by car or scooter.

Friendly and helpful staff, great homemade breakfast and very beautifully painted rooms&areas. Location & price for value is great.

The hotel is very cheap, clean and located 20 minutes walk from Fira. The stuff is very nice and the breakfast is very good. In my opinion, the best choice if you compare the location and standard to price.

Staff was good. The hotel has a same Santorini vibe with white and blue colour. Room was clean and I liked the terrace also, perfect place to enjoy morning coffee and a glass of wine in the evening.

The balcony had table and chairs and a small clothesline

The staff was really nice and helpful. Breakfast was amazing! We had to leave before breakfast time and they prepared breakfast on-the-go. Maybe we are not used to hotels, I don't know, but staying at their hotel was a higlight of our vacation. Thank you again for the hospitality!

Πολύ κοντά στο κέντρο των φηρών,ήσυχο μέρος,πολύ καλή εξυπηρέτηση από το προσωπικό του ξενοδοχείου.Καθαρό και βολικό.Επίσης σε μικρή απόσταση υπάρχουν πολλά μαγαζιά.Το ξενοδοχείο διαθέτει κλιματισμό,τηλεόραση,άνετα κρεβάτια,πρωινό στο μπουφέ και επίσης μπορείτε να οργανώσετε ομαδικές εκδρομές με τη βοήθεια του υπεύθυνου στη ρεσεψιόν που είναι πάντα πρόθυμος να σας βοηθήσει σε οποιαδήποτε απορία έχετε.Είναι οτι πρέπει για ξεκούραση και χαλάρωση μετά από την πολύωρη εξερεύνησή σας στο ωραιότερο νησί της ελλάδας.Θα το ευχαριστηθείτε!

κλεισαμε το δωματιο τελευταια στιγμη την περιοδο του πασχα απο το τηλεφονο, ειχαμε πολη καλη εξηπηρετιση, γενικος οι ιδιοκτιτες βοηθησαν πολλη. εχουμε μεινει σε πολλα ξενοδοχεια στην σαντορινη λογο της δουλειασ μας. τα δωματια ειναι απλα και καθαρα, εχουν και τηλεωραση σημαντικο κατα εμε. το προτηνω ανεπιφιλακτα.

Όλα ηταν υπέροχα . Σε ήσυχη περιοχή ενώ ταυτόχρονα σε πολύ κοντινη απόσταση είχε και ΜΙΝΙ ΜΑΡΚΕΤ και εστιατόρια ακόμη και μαγαζιά με ρούχα. Το κέντρο του νησιού 10 λεπτά με τα πόδια από το ξενοδοχείο. πολύ καθαρό ξενοδοχείο και γενικά όλα ήταν τέλεια .ΣΑΣ ΕΥΧΑΡΙΣΤΟΥΜΕ ΠΟΛΥ ΚΩΣΤΑΣ -ΜΑΡΙΑ 23-04-15

Ήταν ένα υπέροχο και πολύ φιλόξενο ξενοδοχείο σας το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα.Μία μικρή οικογενειακή επιχείριση που με τον κόπο και το μεράκι τους μας κάνανε να αισθανόμαστε σαν το σπίτι μας. Επίσης και η περιοχή ήταν ήσυχη,χωρίς φασαρίες και αμάξια.

Ξεχώρισα το ξενοδοχείο Ίκαρος διότι μου προσέφερε απλόχερα φιλική εξυπηρέτηση και θερμή φιλοξενία ! Επίσης εκτίμησα ιδιαίτερα το γεγονός ότι βρίσκεται σε μία ήσυχη περιοχή η οποία παράλληλα απέχει λίγα μόλις λεπτά από το κέντρο και από την στάση που περνούν όλα τα λεωφορεία ! Γενικά είμαι πολύ ευχαριστημένη από το ξενοδοχείο και θα το επιλέξω σίγουρα την επόμενη φορά που θα επισκεφτώ το νησί !

Πολύ όμορφος χώρος, καθαρός περιποιημενος και σε παρα πολύ καλό σημείο.. πολύ κοντά απο το κεντρο με τα πόδια. Έχει πολύ κοντά Σουπερ Μάρκετ φαγαδικα και αγορά.. εξυπηρετικο προσωπικό φοβεροί άνθρωποι και πολύ ευχάριστοι σε όλες μας τις αναγκες ειναι παρόν με λύσεις.. θα το ξανά προτιμούσα!!

Ολα τα παιδια ειναι φοβερα & πολυ φιλικα. Η εξυπηρετηση ηταν αψογη.Τα δωματια ειναι καθαρα και ρομαντικα. Το ξενοδοχειο βρισκεται πολυ κοντα στο κεντρο της πολης.Το συστηνω ανεπιφυλακτα!Γιωργο,Μαρια,Ηλια ευχαριστουμε για ολα!

Φιλόξενο μικρό οικογενειακό ξενοδοχείο πεντακάθαρα όλα εξυπηρετικοί όλοι τους με το που μπήκαμε στο ξενοδοχείο μας υποδέχθηκαν με όλη τους τη θετικότητα σαν να μας ήξεραν καιρό. Το δωμάτιο καθαρό έτοιμο το προσωπικό να μας απάντηση όλες τις ερωτήσεις μας απορίες μας

Το προσωπικο εξυπηρετικοτατο, ενας ανδρας και δυο κοπελες στην ρεσεψιον που συναντησα ηταν ολοι τους πολυ ευγενικοι, το δωματιο πολυ καθαρο και ειχε πολυ ωραια αισθητικη, το lobby επισης ειναι πολυ προσεγμενο αν το συγκρινεις με τα υπολοιπα ξενοδοχεια της περιοχης! Πολλα μπραβο!

This is a very good basic budget hotel. The room is clean and new and the staff is always willing to help. The only caution I would give is the uphill walk in the heat to get to the main towns. There are also stairs to get to the rooms. If you're older, this may not be the place for you. For younger people on a budget, it's great.

Appena tornato da Santorini devo ahimè lasciare una recensione poco positiva su questa struttura. Salvo solo la professionalità della signora che gestisce la pulizia delle stanze. Pure il ragazzo, il più grande dei due presenti, non è stato scortese, tuttavia non è accettabile che ci si scordi di attivare un transfer per l'aeroporto dopo essersi preso l'impegno di farlo. La ragazza alla reception l'ho trovata scostante e poco professionale con i clienti con la mentalità di vedere questi ultimi come semplici automi di passaggio a cui spennare i soldi uno dopo l'altro. Fare turismo è ben altro. La notte è tutto sguarnito e non c'è nessuno. In caso di emergenze grosse sarebbe un dramma con tutti i turisti platealmente lasciati a se stessi. I thought i would have been a better stay…

We stayed there on the way to catch a very early morning flight. A short stay but made to feel very welcome in trendy budget rooms Staff were very helpful in arranging onward transportation to the airport a ten minute drive away.

I stayed at Hotel Ikaros for a total of 9 nights as a solo traveller. These are nice basic rooms that are clean and comfortable. Karterados is about a 10-15 minute walk out of Fira, keep in mind that the walk is entirely uphill and usually very hot. I was fine to walk but some might struggle! The local bus is also an option. You can have breakfast for an extra €5 per person per day, I did not try it! The bakery 2 minutes up the road on the Main Street offered great breakfast options for brilliant prices. For €3.50 I could get myself a ham and cheese croissant and a bottle of water, perfect for me. The hotel are also able to arrange you transport to/from the airport for €15. I used this transport arriving in Santorini but decided to use the local bus service for my departure…

Do NOT visit this place. Oh I can cope with the bugs that enter the rooms due to the countryside, but what I can't cope with are the COCKROACHES!!!!!!!!!! We were chasing one late at night all by ourselves as there is no one in the reception after 23:00! We told the woman in the reception the next morning and she was like "we had a decontamination recently". Yeah SURE!! We could smell the pesticide they were spraying every time they were cleaning the rooms. Not to mention that she was pissed off because we told her that we had to search the downstairs bathroom to find a roach-killing spray. They didn't even bother to reduce the price cause of the incident, they didn't even apologise and as if this wasn't enough, they didn't give us a receipt. We had to go back and ask for one.

I travelled here for my first clubbing holiday. It was very basic and we were the only English at the hotel. It was a basic room but clean. Did the job for a young group. For what we paid we couldn't really complain! I would return to Greece but would probably seek more luxury next time.

This place was very conveniently located 15 min walking from Fira, 5 minute walk from bus stops. The staff is extremely helpfull and friendly, specially the owner. The room sizes are good, very clean and safe. We loved it here!!!

A 5 star review, but dont go expecting a 5 star hotel. Ikaros is simple and basic. Quiet and cute. Cheap and clean. Off the beaten track, so to say, a 15 min wander will get you into Thira to watch the sunset, or bounce around its maze of lanes. On the way, you will walk past plenty of bars and restaurants, all look good, but our faves were Home Bar, for a beer, and Stelios in Chefs Garden was one of the best value places we ate at. Anyhow. Ikaros belies its value. The whole team work tirelessly to provide you with clean rooms and a friendly approach. Its a compact shower/toilet room. But, its spotless. Hey, its a room to shower off your sun burn, not a place to have a spa!!! A fridge and a kettle give us Brits what we love. A brew in the morning, and a cold beer…

We picked Ikaros as it was in the perfect location for us. Slap bang in the middle of the island you have Fira only 15 minutes walk away or you can drive to the top or bottom of the island within 30 minutes. The rooms were clean and maintained daily to a high standard. If you are looking for a hotel where you sit by the pool every day it isn't for you BUT if you are coming to santorini to explore the island I highly recommend Ikaros.

I went there with a friend and we booked a twin room bed. We had a driver pick us up from the airport at midnight and it took around 20mins to reach to our hotel. The staff there also was very helpful and friendly. They helped us to book an ATV for a reasonable price for 2 days. This hotel also is very near to Fira which is less than 10mins by ATV or 20min+ by walking. Overall,i would highly recommend this hotel to someone who is looking for great location, comfortable room and not expensive price.
